Academy trust holds parents meeting over school's futurepublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2016
Parents and staff at Winterbourne Academy in South Gloucestershire will meet tonight to discuss the school's future.
The academy chain that runs Winterbourne, as well as Yate Academy, is projected to have a £1m shortfall this financial year.
As a result the Ridings Federation of Academies trust has asked other chains to come in and run the schools from next September.
Unions are worried about the plans and say the public meeting will try to secure a "favourable outcome" for the schools.
