    The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue team have been out this morning to rescue a car which aquaplaned into a wall on the B4192. Thankfully the driver wasn't injured.

  7. Elderly man rescued from his vehicle in Wellingtonpublished at 07:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2016

    Two fire engines, an ambulance and the special rescue team were called out yesterday evening to rescue an elderly man trapped in his van in rising flood water in Wellington.

    Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews found the man struggling to breathe, but they managed to rescue him from his vehicle and took him to hospital.
