    It's a bright day across Cambridgeshire - we'll take a look at the day's weather forecast in full shortly.

    In the news, we'll report on a rise in illegal tattooists which is being blamed on reality TV by one tattoo artist from Ely; the latest on the City Deal plan for Cambridgeshire,; and potato "rustling" is on the increase in the Fens - we'll hear from one farmer who says theft of crops is more common than you might think.

    It should stay dry overnight but rather cloudy in light to moderate winds with temperatures 14-16C (57-61F).

    Tomorrow will be a dry day with any early cloudy thinning and breaking to bring long spells of sunshine. Turning cloudy from the west later in the day with highs of 25-27C (77-81F).

    A Cambridgeshire man who ran a cannabis factory from his home in Tree Farm, external, Haddenham, has been ordered to pay back £425,000 after a hearing at Cambridge Crown Court.

    Neil Badcock, 48, was convicted of conspiracy to produce cannabis in October 2013 and was jailed for seven years.

    He has been told to pay back the money made from his illegal activity within three months under the Proceeds of Crime Act, external (POCA). If he fails to do so he will face a four-year extension of his current sentence with the payment still owed.

    At the moment Huntingdon's Giles Scott is at the top of the leader board in the men's Finn sailing event at the Rio Olympics.

    He's just waiting to get started as the race start has been delayed by half-an-hour due to the high winds with the action now set to begin about 17:30.

  7. Thousands of incident images found on doctor's electronic devicespublished at 16:42

    When police arrested Dr Michael Kennedy, external from his home in Peterborough in March, they seized 80 electronic devices and 840,000 category C images of children, external were found, but a further 2,000 were classified as category A - the worst level.

    More than 470 extreme pornographic images classified as "grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character" were also discovered.

    Kennedy pleaded guilty at Peterborough Magistrates' Court yesterday to one count of making category A indecent images of children, one count of making category B indecent images of children, one count of making category C indecent images of children and one count of possessing prohibited images of children.

    He also admitted three counts of possessing extreme pornographic images.

    He will be sentenced at a later date.

    Following his arrest in March he was suspended by the General Medical Council in April.

    Det Sgt James Weston, from the Paedophile Online Investigation Team (POLIT), says: "While there was no evidence of any contact offending, nor first-generation images; ones which Dr Kennedy had taken himself, or offending against any of his patients - it is clear from what was uncovered that Dr Kennedy has an unhealthy interest in indecent images of children and extreme pornography."

    A doctor from Peterborough has pleaded guilty to seven charges, external relating to indecent images, some involving children. 

    Dr Michael Kennedy, 52, of St Pegas Road in the city, was arrested in March after an internet provider informed police his address was being used to download indecent images of children. 

    He pleaded guilty to the charges at Peterborough Magistrates' Court yesterday.

    Concerns are growing for a missing man from Sawston, external

    Michael Barton, 67, was reported missing from his home in Maple Avenue, Sawston, yesterday evening after being last seen at about midday at the Owl Cafe in the village.

    He was wearing a dark blue jumper, blue and white shirt and grey trousers. 

    Police say his disappearance is "out of character".

    Another Cambridgeshire medal hope to look out for today at the Rio Olympic Games is Huntingdon's Giles Scott.

    Last night he moved into the overall lead in the men's Finn sailing event.

    Four-time world champion Scott began his campaign by coming 17th and third in the opening two races on Tuesday.

    But the 29-year-old, who started the day in 10th place, came second in the first race on Wednesday, before winning the second one to move ahead overall.

    There are six more races in the opening series, with the top 10 sailors taking part in the medal race on 16 August.

    He's expected to take to the water again today from 17:00. You can follow all the latest Games action with BBC Sport.

    It was great news for St Ives' Hannah Macleod and the Great Britain's women hockey team as they maintained their unbeaten record as they qualified for the Olympic quarter-finals with a 3-2 victory over Argentina yesterday. 

    Group B leaders Great Britain next face Japan on Friday.

  20. Mental health support being offered to policepublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 11 August 2016

    Help is being offered to in Cambridgeshire to improve the mental health of emergency service workers. 

    The mental health charity Mind has been given funding for the Blue Light Project to try and get staff to talk about their issues as well as offering help and support. 

    It's after figures show that sick days at Cambridgeshire police are on the increase, external.

    Emily Grey, the chief executive of Mind in Peterborough and Fenland says some staff are more likely to go a colleague instead of a GP, so if they can "upskill staff within the force, this is one way of reducing the stigma".
