We understand there are at least half a dozen GP surgeries in Cambridgeshire that have been hit by the recent cyber-attack

The Monkfield medical practice in Cambourne has told patients its computers are down and no appointments or call-backs will take place today.

It's a similar picture at three surgeries in March - Mercheford, Cornerstone and Riverside.

We've also heard of problems at George Clare surgery in Chatteris, St Mary's surgery in Ely and Priory Fields in Huntingdon.

The Clinical Commissioning Group has yet to confirm the full extent of GPs affected in the county.

  4. Fines for anti-social behaviour come into force in Peterboroughpublished at 09:01 British Summer Time 15 May 2017

    Adam Jinkerson
    BBC Local Live

From today, people in Peterborough could be fined for littering, begging or cycling on the pavement in areas such as Bridge Street (pictured).

A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) will mean that anyone who is caught faces an on-the-spot fine of up to £80.

A trial period has been running for the past six weeks, during which time the city council says 350 people have been caught. That means up to £28,000-worth of fines have been handed out.

John Holdich, leader of the city council, said the order was not an idea he'd "plucked out of the air".

"A small minority of people are spoiling the experience of shoppers, visitors and businesses by behaving in an anti-social manner," he said.

"Cycling in a crowded area is very dangerous. There's quite a lot of urinating in the city when people in the pubs are coming out at night.

"It went out to public consultation and people were overwhelmingly in favour of it."
