  2. Five-year-old's homeless video goes viralpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 4 October 2016

    A five-year-old girl from Coventry has chastised the Prime Minister for not helping the homeless in a video posted online, external which has now gone viral.

    Brooke Blair directed the comments at Theresa May in a video posted by her mother, Holly Matthews, which has now been watched more than 650,000 on Facebook and 19,000 times on YouTube.

    Ms Matthews said that homelessness had been troubling her daughter for some time.

    A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision involving a lorry in Leamington, external on Monday, the ambulance service say.

    It happened at the junction of Newbold Street and Hamilton Terrace at around 14:00.

    A woman, believed to be in her 40s, suffered suspected fractures to her ankle and pelvis.

    A 44-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Coventry on Sunday, say police, external.

    They said they were called to the Holyhead pub, Holyhead Road, about 19:40 after reports a man had been stabbed in the stomach.

    A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital and is in a "stable" condition.

    - Severe congestion on the A45 in both directions at the A452, Kenilworth Road

    A man has died in a crash on the M6 between junctions two and one this morning, say police., external

    It happened just before 05:00 and involved a van and a lorry.

    The driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter Van died at the scene, a spokesman said.

    The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

  11. M6 accident: Disruption expected until 13:00published at 08:23 British Summer Time 4 October 2016

    Highways England say disruption on the M6 is expected to continue until around 13:00, external.

    It says they've release traffic caught up in the accident involving a lorry and a van, which happened at around 05:00.

    All Chiltern Railways routes to and from London are being affected by a cable fire at Neasden.

    Police are diverting traffic away from the serious accident on the M6 at J2 via the M69 northbound to J1.

    The diversion run along the A5 eastbound and continues to the A426 southbound to re-join the M6 at J1.
