BBC Weather's Matt Taylor looks at what to expect as Storm Frank travels over the UK.
The Environment Agency has issued more flood warnings for Cumbria. There are now four:
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service have deployed a rescue boat to Cumbria in preparation for Storm Frank.
Merseyside crews have been helping in Cumbria, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire (pictured) since Boxing Day.
Firefighters from Merseyside also have deployed a high volume pump and support team to Lancashire to assist with the recovery.

The A66 is closed to high sided vehicles between Bowes and the A685 due to strong winds.
Electricity North West says that just under 700 homes are without power in the county.
It's affecting properties in the Egremont and Penrith areas.

The Met Office says the first real signs of Storm Frank have arrived in Cumbria.
Keswick has already seen a total of 26.5mm of rain and they say100-120mm is still expected in some areas of Cumbria with 40-50mm expected more widely.
Gusts of 67 mph have been recorded at St Bees.
Cumbria Police say 58mph winds have been recorded on the A66 in Cumbria and advise to drive only if you have to in the north and west of the county.
A fallen tree at Loweswater has taken out some phone lines in the village.
There are three severe flood warnings, external in place for the River Yarrow in Croston.

Yesterday Cumbria Police named Appleby, Braithwaite, Keswick, Cockermouth, Egremont, Flimby and Glenridding as the main areas at risk from heavy rain and gale force winds.

There are also 14 flood alerts in Cumbria, which is the lowest level of warning issued by the Environment Agency.

I'm in Croston where the people have been taking no chances overnight because of the three severe weather warnings in place.
People rallied together yesterday to try to protect homes and businesses - dozens of volunteers filled sandbags. And a Chinook helicopter dropped sandbags into gaps in the flood defences.

There's damage to the overhead electric wires between Curriehill and Kirknewton which is causing disruption to trains between Edinburgh and Carlisle. This is expected to continue until 15:00.
The information from National Rail is that the following services are affected:, external
No First TransPennine Express services will run between Carlisle and Edinburgh. Passengers may use CrossCountry, ScotRail, Virgin Trains and Virgin Trains East Coast services via any reasonable route.
Virgin Trains services between Edinburgh and London Euston will be diverted with journey times delayed by up to 40 minutes. Passengers may use ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central.
The Met Office has issued an amber warning of rain for the north-west of England, external which is valid until 15:00.
It says some large rainfall accumulations are likely across parts of Cumbria which will not be as great as early December, but says there may be some disruption.
There are four severe flood warnings in place at the moment for England, external - which indicates severe flooding and danger to life. Three of the them are for the River Yarrow at Croston, Lancashire.
A number of flood alerts - indicating flooding is possible - are in place across Cumbria.
