A memorial in honour of a Boer and First World War veteran, who was buried in an unmarked grave, is set to be unveiled at the weekend.

He was then buried in an unmarked grave in Burbage.
A permanent memorial to him is to be unveiled on Saturday at St Catherine's Church in the village.
Local historian, Greg Drozdz, said: "By nature, he was a quiet man. He was a little bit reclusive, a little bit secretive.
"Whilst he did contribute to the community, it was never in the limelight, it was always in the background."

Some football supporters have complained that searches at last night's Mansfield and Lincoln match were inappropriate.
One Lincoln supporter told the BBC that a steward joked about a bomb and female fans weren't given the option of being searched by another woman.
"Searches need to be done in a proper way," Imps supporter Jonathan Bellshaw said.
"If you're going to search kids there's a way to do it and that is first asking the consent of the parent and tell the kids what's going on... you certainly don't make jokes about bombs."
Mansfield Town has said it takes the complaints very seriously and has begun the process of establishing the details of the incident.

Thieves have stolen 20 heavy gritstones from a popular and ancient path in Matlock.
Police believe the slabs, which went missing from the games area in Hurst Rise during the weekend of 19/20 August, may have been sold on.
James Bowler, from Derbyshire Police, said: “This crime has had a significant impact on the local community and ruined a footpath that’s been in place for over 250 years.
“The seemingly organised nature of this offence causes particular concern that similar incidents could follow if we are unable to track the offenders down.”

Lessons have begun at a new school in Leicestershire, which was built to ease the high demand for places in the area.
Hallam Fields Primary, in Birstall, took less than a year to build and welcomed its first intake of four-year-old students on Tuesday.
"The Hallam Fields estate has been growing over the last 14 years," headteacher Scott Fewster told BBC Radio Leicester.
"The two existing primary schools had become heavily oversubscribed, as a result of that, the school has been really needed and campaigned for.
"So the fact that it is now open means we can join the partnership in the local community."

A reader got in touch via Your Questions and asked us this puzzler: There's a new development in Derby called Castlefields. Was there ever a castle and where was it?
As you can see from the photos below, there are plenty of references to castles in the Cock Pitt area of Derby - but was there a castle there?
Historian Philip Davis, who has carried out extensive research into castles across the country, said evidence suggested there was a castle built in that part of Derby around the start of the 11th Century - but it was most likely a modest timber structure that was abandoned within a few hundred years.
On his website, external, he writes: "Although Derby was the county town administratively Derbyshire tended to be considered with Nottinghamshire and was administered from Nottingham Castle from an early date and, therefore, a castle at Derby would have little function.
"The site has undergone several periods of intense development, demolition and redevelopment, it is now completely built over and it is unlikely anything survives from this short-lived castle site."
Please feel free to get in touch if you know anything else about Derby's castle.
With the 2017 county season here, keep up to date with the latest signings, departures and rumours ahead of next season.
