A paedophile, who was found to be volunteering at a social club where families often took their children, has been jailed.
Alan Carlson, formerly of Portland Road, Hucknall, pleaded guilty to four counts of breaching a sexual offences order.
The order, handed down to Carlson in 2001, prevented him from being in contact with anyone under the age of 16.
Det Con Lisa Avvio from Nottinghamshire Police said: "Carlson had been slowly integrating himself into a community over the past three years.
"He put himself forward to volunteer during ‘Family Night’ socials and often used sweets and expensive gifts to interact with them.
"The way Carlson completely disregarded his sexual offences order, proves how little remorse he has for his previous actions or understanding of how inappropriate they were; a dangerous attitude to have in a community involving children."

Leicester don't need to sell and certainly don't want to, so if Drinkwater is to move, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is going to have to sign a big cheque.
Drinkwater will be a loss to Leicester. He's strong and rugged but his range of passing is most impressive.
And while he'll have to get past Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko to partner his old chum Kante, that isn't something which will faze him. He's sure of himself, focused and disciplined.
This is phase two of the dismantling of Leicester's class of 2015/16 and, sadly, it was always going to happen.

Leicester City appear to be involved in a complicated tangle involving Arsenal, Manchester City and Inter Milan in their bid to try to sign West Brom's Jonny Evans.
The Foxes had a £23m bid for the Northern Ireland international rejected last week.
But Inter Milan have made no progress in their efforts to sign Eliaquim Mangala or Shkodran Mustafi, so no-one can be entirely sure which clubs can move on the Evans deal and which clubs can't.
