A motorcycle enthusiast is hoping to set a new land speed world record on his homemade bike.
Ian Arnold, known as the "mad motorcyclist of Whissendine" is heading to the famous salt flats of Bonneville, Utah in the US next year.
He'll compete in the DIY vehicle, which he describes as looking like an aircraft with no wings.
The bike has just a 100cc engine - that's the same size as a ride-on lawnmower.
He's aiming to get it to about 170mph beating the current land speed record of 151mph.
Mr Arnold said: "I'll have an eight or nine mile course where I go in a straight line, strapped in, barely able to move or breath, I'll be so focused on just achieving that speed."
