A man suffered serious injuries after he was stabbed multiple times in an early-hours attack.
The 29-year-old victim was attacked in the Stonehouse area of Plymouth at about 03:30 BST on Tuesday.
A man, 32, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after initial hospital treatment.
The victim is being treated at Derriford Hospital, where he has undergone surgery. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The suspect was apprehended after he was tracked by a dog unit to Hobart Street.
