    This original monster truck - called Big Pete - weighs 7.5 tonnes.

    Tomorrow's royal nuptials will hold very special significance for a couple from East Devon and their family.

    Alison and Edwin Scource will be at their daughter Amelia's wedding in Stockland Church near Honiton, 34 years to the day after they got hitched at the same venue.

    Police say they are not currently investigating the assaults that are alleged to have occurred following Exeter City's League Two play-off game against Lincoln City last night.

    Two members of Lincoln's coaching staff - including a 78-year-old kit man - are said to have been hurt when fans invaded the pitch after the final whistle.

    The Exeter Morris Men are keeping the crowds entertained at the Devon County Show.

    Established in 1951, they are the oldest established side in Devon and famous for their distinctive outfit of black top hats, green waistcoats and black breeches with bells at the knee.

    This weekend's royal wedding has been given the peculiar honour of being acted out by a pair of record-breaking Jack Russells from Devon.

    Jacob, who will be dressed as Prince Harry, has just smashed three world records: speedy leg weaves, lots of roll overs and quickly offering alternate paws.

    Jessica, meanwhile, has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records for her skipping abilities.

    They have been trained by Rachael Grylls from Lewdown near Okehampton.

    A man from Plymouth has been arrested following reports of a suspected taser device at a property in the city.

    Police and bomb disposal experts were called to Percy Terrace (pictured below) at about 20:15 last night.

    A number of items were found and made safe by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, but the area did not have to be evacuated.

    A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon and remains in police custody.

    The owner of a Cornish company making commemorative mugs for the royal wedding says he's been surprised by how few he's sold.

    Chown China based near Hayle has been making souvenir mugs and plates for more than 50 years.

    Stewart Chown has only sold six of its limited edition of 100 mugs featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but he's hopeful of more sales after the wedding.

    There was disruption to Torpoint Ferry services this morning after a suspected drink driver abandoned a car on one of them.

    Police were called to the ferry terminal just before 07:00 this morning.

    They are still trying to find the driver, who fled the scene.

    The vehicle has been recovered.

    Young people who have lost a partner and been left a widow or widower have been invited to take part in a special picnic this weekend near Torpoint.

    The day out has been organised by the charity Widowed And Young, external, which offers a network of friends and support from people in the same position.

    Widow Kim Gray has used the service before and says you do not have to talk about your situation if you do not want to.

    "They knew how to act and behave, and they leave you alone if you need to be left alone," she said.

    "I like the fact that we can go out and have a meal and then, if we wanted to we could go out and have a bit of a dance and enjoy ourselves as well, because at the end of the day it's widowed and young."

    The Devon and Cornwall picnic takes place at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park from 14:00 on Sunday.

    A family have paid a unique tribute to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ahead of their big day tomorrow.

    The wedding has been acted out by Jack Russell dogs dressed in hand-made, specially designed costumes.

    Prince Harry, his best man Prince William, and of course his bride-to-be are all played by dogs.

    Rachael Grylls, their trainer from Lewdown near Okehampton, says she hopes the weather will be nice for the big day.

    "Hopefully it'll be glorious and everything will go off as planned and hopefully they'll look as gorgeous as my dogs," she said.

    Exeter City has issued a statement saying it will "fully investigate" the behaviour of supporters following the club's victory over Lincoln City last night to win a spot in the League Two play-off final at Wembley.

    After the final whistle, a number of fans invaded the pitch at St James Park and it's been alleged two members of Lincoln's coaching staff - including a 78-year-old kit man - were hurt in the aftermath.
