Two sisters from Cornwall are encouraging people who use kayaks and paddle boards to spend a bit of time each week cleaning up the sea, and the county's rivers and waterways.
Mary James and her sister Bernie Bush have collected huge amounts of litter from the river at Malpas in Truro.

But I'm lucky that I can get to it in my kayak - most people couldn't get there. I would love to encourage more kayakers and paddle boarders to get out there, come ashore and pick up some litter."

An estate agent from Cawsand will face trial over allegations he misled potential customers, external over the price of properties he sold.
Scientists at the University of Exeter Medical School have made what they say is a breakthrough discovery during a study on Type 1 diabetes.
They found the insulin levels of Type 1 diabetics stabilise after seven years - which contradicts previous beliefs that the insulin produced by people with the condition drops relentlessly with time.
Dr Beverley Shields led the research and hopes that by learning what changes after the seven-year point, scientists can develop a way to preserve insulin-secreting beta-cells in patients. She says it's an "exciting" discovery.

The accreditation has been issued by the charity Surfers Against Sewage, marking the first step towards a plan to cut plastic usage.
Plymouth City Council is launching a "plan for plastics" on the Hoe, which will see the introduction of reusable plastic bottles and cups as well as a series of beach cleans and litter picks.

Armed police were called to Mount Hawke near Truro to deal with a man "believed to be in possession of a weapon".
Police said armed units were sent to Church Road "following concerns for the welfare of a man".
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Negotiators made contact with the man who declared that he was having a medical episode."
The man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Police said no offences had been committed.
An overturned trailer - reported to be carrying a Portaloo - has caused severe delays on the M5 near Clevedon in Somerset with queues stretching back into Devon.
According to the Highways Agency there are now delays of up to three hours on the northbound carriageway.

An extra £1.5m is needed for "critical" maintenance on the Tamar Bridge after asbestos was discovered.
Work was stopped on the suspension system when the harmful material was discovered in March.
That led to a seven-week delay with the works while the area was made safe and specialists were brought in to help bring in safety measures.

In March, the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee was told asbestos-related material had been unexpectedly discovered but work should be finished by October.
A report to the committee said as a result, the final bill has risen from an initial £6m to £7.5m.

They were taken from the Bridwell Road area of the city today, police said on Twitter., external

Ms Slade was elected in 2015, aged 18, to represent the Cranmore Ward as a Conservative on Mid Devon District Council, external.
She was thought to be Britain's youngest local councillor when she was elected. She died at her home in Winchester, where she was going to university, by her housemate in March.

The Tories retained the seat getting 479 votes, with the Lib Dems in second place (346) and Labour in third (238). Turnout was 27.4%.

The chains used to pull the Torpoint ferry across the River Tamer are to be replaced next week.
Tamar Crossings said the worn chains on the middle ferry are due to "expected wear and tear".
Both chains will be replaced, resulting in a reduced service from Monday to Thursday.
Image source, GoogleEach chain is more than 2,130ft (650m) in length and weighs 23 tonnes, making replacement a "slow and difficult process", when combined with the restricted space and working from a moving ferry.
The company said it will complete the work as quickly and safely as possible, but passengers should allow extra time for their journeys,
"We are effectively moving 1.6 miles and nearly 100 tonnes of metal, much of it having to be done by hand and link by link over the four days," it added.
