    A man, in his 70s, has died following a house fire in Clacton overnight, Essex Fire and Rescue has said.

    Warwick Road

    It happened in Warwick Road at about 23:10 last night.

    When firefighters arrived, the house was heavily smoke-logged and the man, who was found unconscious in the lounge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

    If you look at many of this morning's front pages, you're more than likely to see a picture that shows Donald Trump with Nigel Farage. 

    The UKIP leader is the first British politician to meet the president-elect since his victory over rival Hilary Clinton.

    There have been calls for Mr Farage to act as a go-between for Donald Trump and the UK government, however this morning Braintree's Conservative MP James Cleverly has dismissed it.

    "If we didn't have such a thing as the foreign office and we didn't have diplomats then I could understand, but we do, and those are the right people to act between the president-elect and the government," he said.
