    It's been an even earlier start than usual for BBC Radio Oxford's roving reporter Lilley Mitchell this morning.

    She was at Wittenham Clumps to watch the sunrise on the longest day of the year.

    The sun rose at about 04.45 and won't set until around 21.30 today.

  3. National Trail plans revealed for Dorset coastlinepublished at 08:17 British Summer Time 21 June 2017

    Plans to give Dorset a National Trail along its entire coastline for the first time have been set out.

    The Natural England proposals, external aim to improve public access along a 42-mile (67km) stretch of coast between Kimmeridge Bay and Highcliffe.

    The plans include a new route between Poole Harbour and Highcliffe.

    Changes would also be made to the existing South West Coast Path between Kimmeridge Bay and Poole Harbour to help secure it from coastal erosion.

    An eight-week public consultation on the plans is under way.
