    Worcestershire Rapids will head to Derbyshire Falcons this evening for what is likely to be their last match in this season's T20 Blast competition.

    If they are to keep alive their slender hopes of qualifying, Worcestershire have to win this evening and hope other results go their way.

    Play at Derby is due to get under way at 19:00 and there will be full commentary on that game on BBC Hereford & Worcester's 738 AM frequency and online here.

  3. The festival that grew from a family BBQ gets under waypublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 22 July 2016

    There'll be an influx of about 5,000 people into Bromyard today as the annual Nozstock Festival, external gets under way.

    Nozstock started off as a family barbecue 18 years ago and is now a three-day festival with nine stages and dozens of live acts.

    There is very slow traffic going north on the M5 between J6 (Worcester) and J5 (Droitwich).

    A vehicle that broke down in the roadworks has been moved and all the lanes are open, but the congestion goes back to J7 (Worcester).

    A  number of sites in Hereford could be sold or leased to the city's university project, Herefordshire Council says.

    The leader of the council, Tony Johnson, says it would be impossible to find a site in the city big enough to house the whole of Herefordshire University, but it's possible that various council buildings could be made available for the project.

    Some mental health patients in north Worcestershire claim their lives are being put at risk, because of cuts to mental health services. 

    Former special needs teacher Mary Jones has set up a mental health support group in Redditch - she says she's helping more than 20 people who are getting no help at all from local services.

    Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust says it will listen to their concerns, but says services across the county are changing.

    Kidderminster Harriers are through to the Worcestershire Senior Cup final after they last night beat Evesham United 3-0 at Jubilee Stadium.

    Jordan Murphy scored twice for Harriers with George Taylor also on target, while Harriers' goalkeeper Jono Brown saved a second-half penalty.

    Harriers will now meet Redditch United in the final which will be played at Bromsgrove Sporting's Victoria Ground tomorrow afternoon.

    A number plate commemorating England's 1966 World Cup victory is being auctioned in Malvern today. 

    The DVLA, who are holding a three-day sale at the Morgan factory, say there has been interest from across the world in owning WC66 ENG.
