    North Lincolnshire Council say it cost £2,000 to clear up waste from a tent town protest site which was set up in Scunthorpe. 

    The council say there was five tonnes of waste to clear including faeces and drug paraphernalia.

    The people living there wanted the council to help more homeless people into houses.

    A woman who was found dead on Bridlington beach on New year's Day has been identified. 

    Police say she was 62 but are not revealing her name.

    A police spokesman says the woman was reported as missing the day after her body was found.

    A series of marine themed art installations will be displayed at The Deep in Hull, external this year. 

    The first is by Mandy Barker, an award-winning photographic artist whose work involving marine plastic debris has received global recognition.
