The proposed Greater Grimsby town deal brings together some of the most influential people and organisations with connections to the area in a bid to transform Great Grimsby and develop the town's unique maritime heritage.

The Greater Grimsby project is expected to take place over the next 10 years and is expected to be worth about £260m to the local economy.

The plans include new housing, culture and leisure facilities, as well as a new higher education campus.

A report setting out progress already made, and the next steps to bring the plans to life, is due to be discussed by the council’s cabinet next Monday.
