    There's a large emergency services presence in Grimsby town centre currently as they deal with an ongoing issue.

    An air ambulance, fire engines, police cars and paramedics have been reported at the scene near Old Market Place.

    We've contact Humberside Police who say they're still trying to find out more about what's happened.

    Taxi drivers in Hull will be taking people who suffer from dementia and their families out on a day trip today.

    It's part of a scheme to make Hackney cabs in the city more dementia friendly.

    Some drivers have been learning how to take better care of passengers with Alzheimer's and as part of that they are taking people out to Bridlington today.

    Pete Nillson from the Hull Hackney Cabs Association says it was really useful for drivers to have a better understanding of dementia.

    A woman from North East Lincolnshire who was left paralysed from the waist down following a car accident has raised enough money to buy a bionic suit so she can walk again.

    Emily Storer has spent more than a year trying to raise the money she needed to buy a robotic exoskeleton.

    There's been an increase in the number of reports of child neglect in Yorkshire and the Humber according to the NSPCC.

    The charity says it refers around 30 cases every week to the police and social services. It's based on calls and emails that its helpline receives.

    One of the most common problems mentioned is parents looking after children while struggling with alcohol and drugs.

    The Transport Secretary has called on politicians in the north to take more responsibility for improving the region's transport links.

    Writing in the Yorkshire Post, Chris Grayling said while central government would help with funding, it was up to the north to "take control".

    Ministers are being urged to give the go-ahead for a faster rail network between Liverpool and Hull.

    Some local politicians claim transport spending in London has taken priority.

    Hull KR supporters have been told they will be segregated when they play Featherstone Rovers away next weekend.

    Rugby league bosses are still investigating reports of crowd trouble when the two sides last met in June. The RFL is still deciding what action to take.

    As a result, Featherstone Rovers supporters will be asked to use the Community Stand, Main stand and Post Office Road End.

    Hull KR fans will have access to the Went Valley Stand and Railway End.

    The Northern Powerhouse Minister has told BBC Look North the government does back plans for a new high speed rail railway from Hull to Liverpool.

    It follows comments made by the former Chancellor George Osborne, who's urged the Prime Minister to commit to the HS3 rail link across the north.

    Jake Berry was in Hull today, where he also said he was frustrated by the time it was taking to upgrade many transport connections in the area.

    The fire spread from the compound yard into the building through the shutter doors.

    Over the last few weeks residents in Hull have been asked to vote on whether they'd want to see a private company brought in to crack down on people who drop litter.

    The city council says dealing with littering costs thousands of pounds a year and is a waste of taxpayers money.

    Proposals include issuing on-the-spot fixed penalty notices.

    There's just under two weeks until the voting closes. So far, the council say 88% of the public are in favour of bringing an external company in.

    It's claimed Hull will be at the forefront of research into treatments for drug addiction with the opening of a £23m research centre opens in the city.

    Pharmaceutical company, Indivior, says more than fifty people will be employed at the new site.
