    A pensioner was robbed outside a supermarket in Hull on Christmas Day.

    The 89-year-old man had taken a number of notes out of a cash machine outside Sainsbury's on Greenwood Avenue around 09:30 when he was approached by two teenagers on bikes.

    They grabbed the money from him before riding off along 26th Avenue.

    The man, who was on a mobility scooter, wasn't hurt during ther incident.

    The family of Laura Plummer from Hull say they are devastated after an Egyptian court jailed her for three years for bringing strong painkillers into the country.

    The 33-year-old said she had no idea the tablets were illegal.

    The owners of the Lord Line building in Hull could soon be taken to court over their failures to make the site safe.

    That's according to a senior councillor who says Manor Property's recent application to turn the former trawler company offices into a restaurant doesn't address ongoing concerns.

    Martin Mancey says they're likely to serve another section 215 notice to the company, ordering them to put in measures to stop trespassers getting in.

    The BBC tried to contact the Manor Property Group, but no one responded.

    There are calls for the government to make social care for older people an urgent priority, especially for those living in rural parts of Lincolnshire.

    The head of Age UK in North Lincolnshire says charities and community are being overstretched in order to plug gaps in services.

    In Winterton, volunteers created the Winterton Care Campaign.

    They offer home visits, winter care packs and a team of snow clearers and gritters.

    The jailing of Hull woman Laura Plummer for importing the painkiller Tramadol into Egypt will be devastating to her family, according to her MP.

    Ms Plummer has always insisted the painkillers were for her Egyptian partner, who has back problems.

    Her family have said they will appeal against the sentence.

    MP Karl Turner says he is sure the British government will continue to press the Egyptian authorities over Ms Plummer's case
