    Sprinkler systems are being installed in four of Scunthorpe's high rise flats.

    Ongo Homes, which owns the buildings, says it is investing £800,000 following the fatal fire at Grenfell Tower in London in June 2017.

    Sprinklers are being installed at Princess House, Sutton House, Crosby House and Trent View House.

    The sprinklers will be put in each flat and communal areas.

    A motorist is in a potentially life-threatening condition in hospital after being involved in a crash in Hull, police say.

    They believe the person had a medical episode at the wheel before the collision involving two cars on Staveley Road, near the junction with Marfleet Lane, at about 17:00 yesterday.

    They want to speak to anyone who saw the collision.

    Roadworks begin in East Yorkshire today, which will see part of the main road between Goole and Swinefleet close during the day for two weeks.

    The A161 between the Barracks in Goole Fields and the mini roundabout in the middle of Swinefleet will be closed between 09:30 and 15:3m on weekdays for the next fortnight.

    A diversion will be in place via Crowle, Thorne and Rawcliffe.

    Police say they have found a body in the hunt for a man wanted over the murder of a neighbour and the attempted murder of his pregnant girlfriend in East Yorkshire.

    Officers say a body, believed to be that of Anthony Lawrence, 55, was found in a vehicle in North Yorkshire last night.

    Police had been searching for him after Shane Gilmer was found injured at his home in Southburn, near Driffield.

    A crossbow was recovered from the house. Laura Sugden suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident.

    Police hunting for a man wanted over the murder of a neighbour and the attempted murder of his pregnant girlfriend say they have found a body.

    It is believed to be Anthony Lawrence, 55, and was found in a vehicle on Sunday evening in North Yorkshire.

    Police had been searching for him after Shane Gilmer was found injured at his home in Southburn, near Driffield. A crossbow was recovered from the house.

    Laura Sugden suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident.

    Det Ch Insp Stewart Miller, from Humberside Police, said in a statement on Sunday night: "Since Friday evening we have been carrying out extensive enquiries into Mr Lawrence's whereabouts, which led to the location in North Yorkshire, upon where officers discovered a body."

    Inspector Kirsty Tock from Humberside Police says the Myton Bridge in Hull is "broken."

    She went onto say "Tailbacks on A63, Ferensway and Beverley Road. All staff are working to clear Castle Street and the immediate area. Please avoid the city centre and expect major delays."

    Humberside police say 'We are getting calls regarding traffic backing up from the Myton Bridge in Hull (in both directions). Looking at CCTV this is because the bridge is open allowing shipping traffic into and out of the River Hull. Please be patient.'

    A man has been arrested and released under investigation after a suspected arson in Cleethorpes.

    The fire happened on Park Street at around 7.30 pm in the town.

    A drainpipe on a building was set alight, the fire then spread to a lawnmower and garden furniture.

    Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze and no-one was hurt.

    Reverend Terence Grigg used minister at St Mary's Church in Cottingham.

    He denies 11 charges of indecent and sexual assault, between the 1970s and early 90s.

    He's due to stand trial in July.
