    Humberside Police are wanting to locate Steven Coupland in connection with an incident on Cadogan Street in Hull in November last year.

    Police say they have already spoken to him but efforts to find him since have been unsuccessful.

    North East Lincolnshire Council has tweeted to say palm oil has been found on Cleethorpes beach.

    They say it isn't dangerous to humans but can be toxic to dogs.

    They're urging dog owners to be vigilant, keep their pet on a lead and prevent them from eating anything washed up on the beach.

  5. Upgrade of A63 will go ahead despite cost of exhumationspublished at 11:27 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2018

    Highways England says there is no danger of the upgrade to the A63 Castle Street in Hull being pulled because it's too expensive.

    Last week it was announced 130 archaeologists would be needed every month to help exhume 19,000 bodies for the redevelopment to go ahead.

    The project is estimated to cost nearly £400m.

    Plans to encourage children to play out on the streets in North East Lincolnshire by banning cars for periods of time will be discussed today.

    The idea originated in Bristol and allows communities to apply to have their roads closed to traffic at certain times of the day.

    The project has already been adopted in parts of Hull.

    Film screenings, especially adapted for people in East Yorkshire living with dementia, are taking place twice a month in Beverley.

    The screenings are shown at a lower volume and don't feature any adverts or trailers.

    It's organised by Dementia Friendly East Riding and hopes to bring people together and provide an opportunity to get out and enjoy watching a film in a safe, friendly and social environment.

    People in Hull are being warned not to buy illegal tobacco, as a new campaign is launched to crack down on the issue.

    Nearly 400,000 counterfeit cigarettes have been seized in the last three years and more than thirty people have been prosecuted.

    The council says the sale of fake and illicit cigarettes fuels other criminality and can be very harmful to those who smoke them.
