Councillors are discussing whether to let the taxi app Uber continue operating in Brighton and Hove.
Talks are taking place in public on Monday, but the decision will be made in private and announced on Wednesday.
Other taxi drivers in the city have called for Uber’s licence to be taken away.
They have claimed Uber has not done enough to accommodate wheelchair users - and have raised concerns that taxis licensed elsewhere are picking up work in Brighton and Hove.
Uber has said it is listening. A spokesman said the company had ensured its drivers licensed in the city receive disability awareness training and Uber had stopped its London drivers picking up work on the coast.
