- Today marks the start of the Yorkshire Festival across West Yorkshire. Over 900 artists from 22 countries, will be taking part in an 18-day celebration of the arts.

A cloudy start to the day with the odd scattered shower possible first thing. We could see some breaks in the cloud and more in the way of brightness later on, however we are likely to see very heavy thundery showers developing throughout the afternoon.
