  5. Tour de Yorkshire: Where to watchpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 26 April 2017

    Paul Ogden
    BBC Sport

There's just hours to go before this year's Tour de Yorkshire which could be one of the toughest yet.

Here's my guide to the best places to watch the action:

Tour de YorkshireImage source, Getty Images

All my recommendations are on stage three of the event, which will revisit roads used in the 2014 Tour de France.

Shibden Wall: This is a rare chance to see even some of the world's elite cyclists struggle as they tackle this cobbled piece of Yorkshire territory.

Bradford City Park: You really have to see the start of a stage, and my pick is Bradford.

Before they set off you see so much, like all of their kit and you might even get to speak to some of the riders.

Finish circuit at Fox Valley: Having said that though, the finish to Stage Three will be spectacular!

Expect drama and plenty of thrills and spills the finish will be a fitting denouement to Yorkshire's own professional cycling race.

Jamie Lock, 21, from Harbour Walk, Hartlepool - but living in Tockwith, near York at the time of his arrest - was jailed for a total of 18 months following a trial at York Crown Court.

Lock admitted making and possessing hundreds of indecent photographs of children, including 58 still images and 61 moving images of category A, the most serious classification.

He denied distributing indecent photographs of children, but was found guilty after a four-day trial.

The court heard he'd been selling the images online.

He will be put on the sex offenders register for 10-years, and be subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

  10. Performing pooches fill 'lead' role in Yorkpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 26 April 2017

A week ago we told you about the need for a very special actor wanted to take a "lead" role at York's Theatre Royal.

The Theatre needed a dog to play the role of Sancho, a farm dog, in a new adaptation of Anne Bronte's Tenant of Wildfell Hall, but any possible candidates were shy in coming forward - taking "paws" for thought perhaps .. (sorry).

Pip and LucyImage source, York Theatre Royal

The good news is that following our highlighting of the dilemma not one but two pooches have been found.

Lucy and Pip are brother and sister, four and eight-years-old and live on a sheep farm in the Northern Pennines.

Both come from a family of film and TV dogs with credits including TV drama's Victoria, and Beowulf.

Apparentely Pip (right)  is the elder brother always wanting to please and Lucy is the naughty little sister who gets away with loads!

The doggy-duo took to the stage for the first time today when rehearsals began and will take turns performing in the play.
