The independent Local Government Commission for England is asking residents in Rotherham to have their say on draft proposals for new council ward boundaries.

The nine-week public consultation will look at the idea that the town should have 59 councillors in future - four fewer than present.
This work will also outline how those councillors should represent nine three-councillor wards and 16 two-councillor wards across the borough.
The consultation , externalruns from today until 4 September.
Quote MessageWe also want to ensure that our proposals reflect the interests and identities of local communities across Rotherham and that the pattern of wards can help the council deliver effective local government to local people."
