A ledger containing details about a mining disaster in Barnsley has been donated to the town's archives.
An explosion at the Oaks colliery in 1847 was later overshadowed by England's worst mining disaster, which followed in 1866.
The newly donated ledger will go on public display today:
A large block of concrete has been thrown at a train that was approaching a Doncaster station.
It happened last Tuesday evening as the Northern train was approaching Hatfield and Stainforth station and was passing under the Cuckoo Lane road bridge.
As it went under the bridge police say "a very large piece of concrete" was thrown from the bridge and struck the driver’s cab.
Detectives are now trying to find those responsible.
Officers say that luckily it hit the other side to where the driver was sitting, but could have caused the driver serious or potentially even fatal injuries.
DC Lee Parsons, said: “It is astonishing that someone thought it was a clever idea to throw this very large rock over into the path of this train."
He added “Trains travel at very high speeds, and a large rock like this can easily break through the glass. What might seem like a bit of fun, can have extremely serious consequences.
Adrian Pogmore used the aircraft to film people sunbathing naked and his friends having sex.

Instead plans have been announced for so called "bi-mode" intercity trains from 2022 which can run either on electric lines or using diesel power
The Labour MP for Sheffield Central, Paul Blomfield, says the move is a double betrayal:
Quote MessageAt a time when there has never been a greater focus on the impact of diesel fuel on the environment their decision to scrap electrification is incredibly irresponsible. It’s an utter disgrace that this announcement is on the last day of Parliament when the decision can’t be properly challenged.”
Rotherham Council is considering making it an offence to drink, spit or litter in public spaces in the town centre and Clifton Park.
The Public Space Protection Order is being drafted in response to concerns about behaviour raised by residents and businesses.
Offences would include:
Do you recognise these men?
Police want to speak to them after a burglary of a large amount of jewellery in Brighouse.
Police have released the images after thieves stole from the Cashbrokers store on Commercial Street on 21 April.
They got into the brokers though a shop next door and took the jewellery and left on foot towards Market Street.
A York taxi driver has been fined £748 for unfair trading and plying for trade.
Fifty-four-year-old Ian Limbert of Elmpark View, York, drove three passengers from York to Thirsk without pre-booking their fare.
He was driving a City of York Council licensed private hire car, which only allows the driver to pick up pre-booked fares.
City of York Council say that one of the people travelling in the taxi realised that he was acting illegally and demanded her fare back before leaving the car.
They added that Limbert tried to pull the customer out of the car after making a U-turn with the passenger rear door open and one passenger half out the car.
City of York Council have said that it's important people have confidence in their taxi service:
Quote MessageHarassing a passenger in this way as well as flouting the law governing private hire is unacceptable.

Sheffield Crown Court's heard how a former police officer who admitted using the police helicopter to film people sunbathing naked and having sex kept his "swinging and voyeurism" secret.
PC Tim Smales who worked with Adrian Pogmore told the court he didn't know of Pogmore's habits, and would have reported them if he did.
Pogmore, of Guilthwaite Crescent in Whiston, has admitted misconduct in public office. Four others deny the charge and claim Pogmore was responsible for the recordings.

Earlier we were telling you about the West Yorkshire school that is threatening to put pupils into isolation during school days if their haircut doesn't meet up to their regulations.
It's left one West Yorkshire teenager very upset after he was identified as not having an "acceptable" hairstyle by Boston Spa School.
His mum described her son's hair cut as "normal" and that he's not even expressing himself with his hairstyle.
The School also say in a letter that hairstyles should not reflect "youth culture", but Joshua's mum, Sarah, says that if he was working "he wouldn't be told to have a specific haircut."
In a statement the Boston Spa School says: "As part of our partnership with the Gorse Academies Trust from September, we will be adopting the same hairstyle policy which is already, successfully, in place in nine other schools in the trust.
They add "This is one of several policies we are adopting to bring our school in line with all others in the partnership.”
