    New research from the University of Sheffield says employers need to do more to clamp down on modern day slavery in the UK.

    The investigation found that workers employed by agencies can be exploited, while firms are kept in the dark.

    Senior politics lecturer Dr Genevieve LeBaron says failing to monitor outsourced recruitment meant they found some workers were being mistreated.
