She'd been training all season for the race at the Commonwealth Games and travelled for more than 24 hours to be on the Gold Coast.

England men's squash champion James Willstrop speaking to BBC Breakfast: "It's been a tremendous time and I have really enjoyed sharing it with the people who have helped.

"It is a strong squash event. It's so well valued within the circle. Everyone knows about the Commonwealth Games.

"It's a whole new experience because of the special atmosphere. I can't really explain what it is but it's special to be here.

"I wasn't really thinking about winning. Suddenly you've done it and then you're like 'what do I do now?'

"When that moment happens, you don't get too excited about it because you know how hard it is to beat all of those athletes."

    .

Not only is Willstrop a talented squash player, he also loves to act and will be performing on stage in a play in Harrogate later this year!

"It is another thing I do. I love acting. I'd love to be an actor but I'm probably not talented enough! I love it though.

"I'm in a play in June so I have brought my script with me out here and it gives me great time away from the court.

"I love being in drama. It's great!"

The Guildhall, which sits alongside the River Ouse in York city centre, was originally built in the 15th Century but was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in an air raid in 1942.

The major overhaul was to have included offices, a cafe and restaurant.

The city council gave the £9m deal to Interserve in August, but has ended that contract because detailed costs turned out to be "significantly" higher than planned.

City of York director Neil Ferris said: "We remain committed to the Guildhall development and are excited about the potential it offers local businesses, communities and visitors.

"Our next steps are to review options to reduce costs, such as revising the scale, scope or access arrangements to the site."

So-called paedophile hunters helped police charge 150 suspects last year, according to an investigation carried out by the BBC in Yorkshire.

    Mobile phone text chat

West Yorkshire-based group Predator Exposure claims to have supplied evidence leading to the conviction of more than 20 sex crime offenders in the past 12 months.

A Freedom of Information request, sent to every police force in England and Wales, showed a seven-fold increase in the use of such evidence from 2015.

Online groups use what they call "decoys" to pose as underage children and wait to be contacted by adults.

They then converse privately with adults and identify those attempting to groom young people.

Individuals are then tracked down and the confrontation is often streamed live on social media and police are called.

Speaking at a volunteer recruitment day at a pub in Bradford, ex-convict Phil Hoban, who started the group, said: "The police can say, 'We don't like you doing this, we don't like you doing that', but we're going to continue."
