    Officers say she's been tracked to the West Yorkshire area, and she's known to travel by train to Leeds.

    Staff at York Racecourse say they will not tolerate any violence at the races as the Dante Festival gets under way.

    High-visibility security officers are in place at the racecourse and there will be sniffer dogs on patrol.

    Stephen Atkin, chief executive of the Racecourse Association, has said tracks need to assess security measures after fighting broke out at Ascot on Saturday, a week after police said about 50 people were involved in "multiple altercations" at Goodwood.

    Three MPs in Sheffield are opposing a licence renewal application by Spearmint Rhino in the city.

    Paul Blomfield, Louise Haigh and Gill Furniss have written to the licensing committee to underline their concerns over the club's location.

    They say its not appropriate as the club is close to a number of educational centres and student accommodation.

    A council decision on the application by the club is expected on 19 June.

    It's been announced that England World Cup winner Ray Wilson has died.

    The left-back, who played for Huddersfield Town for more than ten years in the 50s and 60s, and was on the England team in 1966.

    He was 83.

    Mr Wilson played 266 games for the Terriers between 1952 and 1964 at left-back.

    He was regarded as one of the unsung heroes of the 1966 World Cup squad, but was more recently diagnosed with Alzhiemer's disease.

    In a statement, Huddersfield Town said, external "The thoughts of everyone at Huddersfield Town are with Ray’s wife Pat, his sons Russ and Neil and the rest of his family and friends at this difficult time."

    The bittern, once extinct in Britain, has had a record-breaking year at the RSPB's site at Old Moor, external, near Wombwell.

    Two of the birds have been seen holding territory there, with three more active in the reserve's reed beds.

    Conservation efforts are credited by the RSPB for an increase in bittern numbers, but it warns that there are still only 150 breeding males in the of the UK.

    Matthew Capper, site manager at Old Moor, says the bitterns' return is a "truly remarkable story".

    The news that the East Coast Main Line is being brought back under UK government control marks the third time in a decade the government has called a halt to the rail franchise.

    The current joint operators, Stagecoach and Virgin, had been negotiating a new contract with the Department for Transport.

    But Stagecoach has said it now understood Transport Secretary Chris Grayling is "no longer considering" the firms for the deal.

    Mick Cash, general secretary of the RMT union, said: "Instead of being a temporary arrangement, Chris Grayling should listen to his staff and the public and make it permanent."

    Meanwhile, Anthony Smith, chief executive of independent watchdog Transport Focus, said: "Whichever organisation runs East Coast services, passengers will be looking for the quality of current services to be maintained and built on."

    In the past few minutes, it's been announced that the East Coast rail franchise is being taken back into public control.

    Stagecoach and Virgin Trains were awarded an eight-year contract in 2014 to run the London to Edinburgh line - but they've been losing millions of pounds.

    In a stock market statement, Stagecoach chief executive Martin Griffiths, said: "We are surprised and disappointed that the Department for Transport has chosen not to proceed with our proposals."

    "Today's decision should not detract from the hard work and dedication of our people at Virgin Trains East Coast"

    Transport Secretary Chris Grayling is expected to make a statement to parliament shortly.

    An 11-year-old boy from Doncaster has been rewarded for his bravery after helping an emergency ambulance get to his ill mum.

    Toby Roe stepped in after his mum, Jane, collapsed with sepsis at their home in Harworth.

    The ambulance staff were so impressed by Toby when they responded to the 999 call they've now surprised him at a special school assembly to present him with an award.

    A man has been arrested by armed police after a man was shot as he sat in his car at traffic lights in Leeds last week.

    The 26-year-old man was arrested at a house in Bramley just after 03:30 on Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

    Three balaclava-clad men armed with a gun and machetes or bats shot a 23-year-old man as he waited at the lights in a BMW on Burmantofts Street last Wednesday.

    He was treated for a minor shoulder injury and was later arrested, by then was released without charge.

    The man arrested this morning is now being interviewed by detectives who are treating the shooting a targeted attack.

    A fire is being investigated at a farm in Barnsley after it claimed the lives of around 65 pigs.
