    Some people may get tattoos of their favourite musicians or lyrics, but not many will get one of their favourite venue.

    However, Ella Taylor, 18, has done just that to show her love for Sheffield's famous Leadmill club.

    Ella, from Sheffield, who has worked at the Leadmill and performed there with her band The Seamonsters, said the venue was a special place for her and her friends

    "All my friends love it, they all love the Leadmill as much as I do and have very similar connections to it," she said.

    She also added the date 16 August 1980 to mark her favourite band Pulp's first performance at the club.

    Anton Lee Copperwaite is wanted for a number of offences, including an alleged serious assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

    He used to live in Brighouse but he "appears to have moved on", according to West Yorkshire Police.

    A brown bear which was brought to Yorkshire after living its life in a cage in Japan earlier this month has died.

    Amu, the oldest of the four brown bears rescued to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, was put to sleep by vets.

    Staff at the park, which is near Doncaster, say heart disease and arthritis were the reason for the bear's poor health, but it was too severe and a decision was made to euthanise the animal.

    Scott Armstead was reported missing from Horsforth shortly before 22:00 last night.

    Officers say they are concerned for the 13-year-old's welfare

    He was last seen wearing a khaki Nike tracksuit, khaki Nike trainers and a khaki Nike man-bag.

    Anyone with information about where Scott might be is being asked to contact police.

    Members of York's Rescue Boat crew are looking for help from naturalists to identify something they spotted in the River Ouse.

    Looks like a pine marten to me, but at "30 cm long" it's a bit short.

    A cat's been crushed to death under a wooden pallet in Keighley, sparking an investigation by the RSPCA.

    The grim discovery was made by a passer-by last Saturday on a grass verge on Spencer Street and the RSPCA says it's believed to be a deliberate act.

    The black and white female cat was found laying on her back underneath the pallet and vets who examined her say it "could not have possibly been an accident".

    The RSPCA is now asking for people who may have seen or heard anything in the area to come forward.

    Police in West Yorkshire are investigating two shootings in Keighley last night which damaged two houses, one of which had children inside.

    No-one was injured, but houses on Bracken Bank Avenue and Heatherbank Avenue were damaged after guns were fired at about 21:00.

    West Yorkshire Police say they think the incidents are linked but that their enquiries are at an early stage.

    There are now more officers in the areas targeted last night and police say they want to speak to anyone who saw a white car in the area at the time.

    A man has been arrested after a shooting at a takeaway in Huddersfield last week.

    A gun was fired at the food outlet on St John’s Road in Birkby at about 22:35 last Thursday, leaving a 19-year-old man with injuries caused by flying glass.

    A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

    Police say they now want to speak to anyone who saw a blue Seat Leon being driven in the area at the time of the shooting.

    A Sheffield-based autism charity says it's seen a 10-fold increase in demand for assistance dogs in the last five years.

    Support Dogs says the high demand means long waiting lists and is leaving some people to turn to unaccredited companies.

    Assistance dogs are trained to provide companionship and help children with autism remain safe and calm and in busy situations.

    In the last five years, the charity has seen demand rise from about 200 to more than 2,000 requests for support animals.

    Charities training support dogs for children with autism are calling for more regulation after figures revealed a quadrupling in requests for help.

    The National Autistic Society warned a badly-trained unregulated dog could make the situation worse for a child with autism.

    A Hull man who contracted HIV and Hepatitis C from contaminated blood says an upcoming inquiry has come too late - but welcomes the chance for those affected to leave their legacy.

    Nick Sainsbury is due to submit a statement when the inquiry into the NHS contaminated blood scandal begins next month, more than a year after it was announced by the government.

    It'll examine how thousands of people were infected by NHS blood products in the 1970s and 1980s, and the government's response.
