Labour MPs in Yorkshire have criticised proposals for new parliamentary boundaries which could see the number of MPs across the UK cut from 650 to 600.
The Boundary Commission proposals, which still need to secure the backing of MPs and peers, have been laid in Parliament.
The commission said it was "confident" in its new map, which covers constituencies across the UK.
The plans could have a major effect on Yorkshire constituencies with several boundaries changed across the area, external.
Sam Hartley, secretary to the commission, said: "We're confident the new map of constituencies best reflects the rules set for us by Parliament .
