South Yorkshire Police have organised the meeting with seven forces to share ideas about drug use in city centres.
Officers will talk about enforcement, testing, drug service support and sentencing.

The workshop will be held on 10 January.

A man has been jailed for four years for a "despicable" robbery of a vulnerable victim in Sheffield.
Ashley Mappin, of no fixed address, gained entry to the victim's house in Pitmoor at about 07:30 on 15 June 2018.
Mappin forced the 69-year-old man to open his safe and fled with an amount of cash, Sheffield Crown Court heard.
The victim, who is a wheelchair user, suffered minor injuries during the altercation.
PC Zed Gulzar said: “Mappin preyed on a vulnerable individual, a wheelchair user who should have been safe in his own home.
“This is a despicable crime and throughout our investigation Mappin has shown no remorse, despite his guilty plea."

The pass is available to anyone aged 19 or under.
The funding partially comes from the fines imposed on motorists who've driven along bus lanes.
The KAT card will initially cost £10 week, it will offer young people unlimited travel on any service in the city and is available to buy from the Paragon Interchange.

The number of children expelled from schools in Wakefield has almost trebled in less than a decade, according to a council report.
A total of 83 pupils were permanently excluded during the 2017/18 academic year, compared with just 30 in 2009/10.
A council report on the issue said the figures showed a similar pattern to other authorities across the UK.
It added the most common reasons for expelling a pupil were persistent disruptive behaviour, verbal abuse against an adult and physical assault on a student.
The report, which will be discussed by councillors next week, said that a special team run by the authority was working with schools to keep the number of expulsions down.
It is the second dedicated travellers' site built by the council in Leeds.
