    A rider who was involved in a crash on a trike after suffering a medical episode is in hospital with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries, South Yorkshire Police says.

    The 62-year-old rider was on Clayfield View, near to the junction with Clayfield Avenue, in Mexborough when the incident happened at about 14:45 on Friday.

    It's thought the injuries were caused by the medical episode.

    Leeds boxer Nicola Adams' first shot at a world title against Mexico's Arely Mucino has been postponed because of injury.

    The British two-time Olympic champion was due to challenge for the WBO world flyweight title at London's Royal Albert Hall on 8 March.

    But a statement from promoter Frank Warren said Adams had "picked up an injury during her preparations".

    "The world title bout will now be rescheduled to take place later in the year," the statement added.

    A cyclist is being treated in hospital after being involved in a serious collision in Bradford.

    The cyclist, a woman in her forties, was in collision with a white Fiat Punto on Rooley Lane near the junction with Asda at about 08:30 yesterday.

    She suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

    The male driver of the Punto was spoken to at the scene.

    Police say they're keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident.

    Officers have been searching for him since 8 December.

    Tomlinson is about 5ft 3ins tall and is known to frequent the Manor, Stradbroke and Wybourne areas, police say.

    Police are warning the public not approach Tomlinson, but to call 999 urgently.

    The grids are part of a Hull City Council campaign to encourage people "to discover and rediscover the joy of simply playing out".

    Members of the public are being encouraged to post photographs and videos of themselves playing hopscotch on social media.

    The grids are part of the council's "playing out" scheme, where people can apply to get temporary road closures put in place so children can play safely outside.

    A person had to be rescued after becoming locked in a cupboard at the weekend, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service says.

    It happened at about 17:20 yesterday in Scarborough.

    Firefighters used hand tools to release the person.

    She is one of seven MPs who have resigned from the party in protest at Jeremy Corbyn's approach to Brexit and anti-Semitism.

    The seven, who are calling themselves the Independent group, are: Chuka Umunna, Luciana Berger, Chris Leslie, Angela Smith, Mike Gapes, Gavin Shuker and Ann Coffey.

    Hull Community Church is one of many churches in the university area of the city offering prayers and support following her disappearance.

    it has already held a special community event and prayer vigil which was attended by the philosophy student's parents.

    The church has now opened up a space where visitors can spend time in thought and prayer and leave prayers for the family.

    A woman had to be rescued by the emergency services after getting her head stuck in a toilet cubicle in Hull.

    Humberside Fire and Rescue Service say it received a call about an "adult female with head fast between partition walls of toilet cubicle".

    A crew released her using small tools on Saltshouse Road in the early hours of this morning, she was then left in the care of the ambulance service.
