It's been confirmed a former student of Leeds University and the University of York was among nine Britons killed in the Ethiopian Airlines crash.
Sam Pegram, 25, from Penwortham in Lancashire, was on board the plane when it crashed shortly after taking off from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, the Norwegian Refugee Council told the BBC.
He had attended Runshaw College in Leyland before going on to study at Leeds University and for a masters degree at the University of York.

A religious education teacher who was thrown off a Sheffield University course after being accused of posting "derogatory" comments on Facebook is due to take his case to the Court of Appeal later.
Felix Ngole, from Barnsley, who is a devout Christian, was thrown off a two-year MA social work degree course in 2015 after posting on Facebook that "the Bible and God identify homosexuality as a sin".
Mr Ngole complained that university bosses had unfairly stopped him completing the course, saying he was lawfully expressing a traditional Christian view, but he lost a High Court fight in 2017.
Sheffield University said the decision to remove him from the course was fair and proportionate.
The university said he was taking a "professionally qualifying degree" with the aim of becoming a social worker and argued what he had said would affect gay people he might work with.
Mr Ngole argued that throwing him out breached his human rights, but Deputy High Court judge Rowena Collins Rice ruled that university bosses had acted within the law.
An historic steel passenger boat could become part of a new Dunkirk-themed attraction on the Yorkshire coast.
Scarborough's Regal Lady participated in Operation Dynamo at Dunkirk, the World War Two evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force and French troops from beaches in France, involving about 700 so-called "Little Ships".
She made three trips to the French coast in 1940, rescuing hundreds of Allied troops.
Since the 1950s, the craft has been operating as a passenger vessel and it is now up for sale.
There are now plans for the Regal Lady to become a Dunkirk-themed attraction located in Scarborough harbour, including a cafe, displays of memorabilia, artefacts from the evacuation and a small cinema showing archive footage.
If the plan's approved, it could open as early as spring next year.

There were major delays in the area after the bridge was closed, but all lanes are now reopened to traffic.
It's said to be pretty slow going on the bridge at the moment, with a lot of traffic still to clear.

A man has been jailed for six years for causing a woman's death by dangerous driving as she waited at a bus stop on her way to go shopping.
Robert Dawson, of Paddock Way, Hatfield, Doncaster, was sentenced yesterday at Nottingham Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving while disqualified and making a false statement.
Janette Lee, a mother of three, died when she was hit by a car driven by Dawson on 14 January, while she was standing at a bus stop on Carlton Road, Worksop.
Her parents, Bryan and Sheila, said: "Finding your daughter lying dead in the road after being involved in a violent collision is just indescribable.
"We’re still in complete shock and disbelief that this day even happened."
Dashcam footage showed Dawson, 55, driving on the wrong side of the road, causing another driver to take evasive action, before he hit the 42-year-old mother-of-three. Dawson was also banned for driving for six years and 10 months.

People are being asked to record their memories and bring forward their artefacts from one of Hull's most famous buildings.
The former Co-op and BHS building is due to be demolished as part of a multi-million pound regeneration of the city centre.
The shop building is well known for the large Three Ships mosaic by artist Alan Boyson.
The mosaic celebrates the Hull fishing fleet and is made up of almost one million pieces of Italian glass on a 66ft by 64ft concrete screen.
The work was commissioned by the Co-op, which owned the building in 1963.
The building is being demolished to make way for the new £130m Albion Square development.
As part of the development, there are plans for the Three Ships mosaic to be incorporated into the new shopping centre.
The people behind the The Ships in the Sky project, external say they want to hear people's memories of the building, its mural and their role in the life of the city.
They say: "A central meeting point in Hull and a frequent backdrop for public events, the Three Ships is woven into the very fabric of the city.
"As the mural floats on Hull’s skyline, it is also a spectacular marker of the city’s international maritime history."
