    Police have revised the number of arrests made at an anti-fracking protest in Nottinghamshire from two to four.

    Officers were called to a test drilling site in Springs Road, near Misson, when protesters locked themselves together in a concrete barrel.

    Three women, aged 29, 41 and 69, and a 50-year-old man were detained on suspicion of obstructing the highway.

    A Bradford school has said it's been "business as usual" today after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the shoulder by another student.

    The Beckfoot Thorton pupil was attacked at about 11:30 on 29 March.

    He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening

    Headteacher Jeremy Richardson said: "It will be business as usual. We are immensely proud of our school, the community we serve and the direction we are heading in.

    "Friday was a setback but it will not define us."

    A 16-year-old boy who was arrested following a stabbing at a Bradford school has been released on bail.

    A woman has been found guilty of "systematically abusing her position" to steal more than £800,000 from people living in supported accommodation.

    Dianna Turner, 53, defrauded residents of the Glastonbury Guest House, in Abbeyfield Road, Sheffield, while she worked there between 2007 and 2016.

    Her brothers Khalid, 59, and Waleed Rahman, 58, were found not guilty of helping to launder the money.

    Turner, of Ecclesfield, will be sentenced on Wednesday.

    Former Ch Supt Duckenfield, 74, denies the gross negligence manslaughter of 95 Liverpool fans.

    Judge Sir Peter Openshaw told Preston Crown Court the six men and six women he would accept majority verdicts of at least 10-2.

    He also said he would accept majority verdicts for a charge under the Health and Safety at Work Act against ex-Sheffield Wednesday club secretary Graham Mackrell.

    Ninety-six people were killed in the disaster at the FA Cup semi-final in Sheffield on 15 April 1989.

    A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in East Yorkshire yesterday and his pillion passenger is in hospital with head injuries.

    The 43-year-old man from West Yorkshire was pronounced died at the scene after the collision on the B1251 about a mile west of Sledmere at about 13:30.

    A 40-year-old woman, also from West Yorkshire, was riding on the back of the white Honda CBR motorbike and is currently in a serious condition.

    Humberside Police say the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta, which was involved in the incident, was unhurt and no arrests have been made.

    A pair of women, who joined a Hull rail company when they were teenagers, have worked their way up through the ranks to become train drivers.

    Emma Ramsden (pictured, left) was just 19 when she joined Hull Trains after leaving her role as hairdresser, now at 30, she's qualified as a train driver.

    She entered into driver training on the same day as 34-year-old Sarah Goulbourne (pictured, right) who joined the company when she was just 18.

    Hull Trains says its "keen to recruit from within" and both women started as "on board hosts" before eventually completing a training course which included 225 hours of driving.

    The company says 30% of its drivers are women with Claire Sonley previously becoming the youngest woman driver in the country at the age of 23.

    A man has been jailed after stealing about £18,000 worth of jewellery, and then drove on the A1 in the wrong direction three times.

    Johari Carter, 27, of Clock Tower Court in Rochdale, stole three watches from a Jewellers in York in January 2019.

    The next day police followed Carter in his car, who then accelerated, drove the wrong way and collided head on with another driver.

    No injuries were reported.

    The judge described the incident as "the worst instance of dangergous driving he'd seen".

    York Crown Court heard how Carter was jailed for three years and banned from from driving for more than five years.

    A woman was allegedly assaulted during the attempted robbery of her mobile phone in Bridlington.

    The woman refused to hand over her phone after she was approached on Viking Road at about 18:45 on Tuesday 26 March.

    Humberside Police are looking for a suspect described as white, about 30 years old, wearing a black hoodie and a scarf over the bottom half of his face.

    Officers went to the site, in Springs Road, near Misson, after protesters locked themselves together in a barrel made of concrete.

    It came from the biggest human milk bank in the UK.

    Alexander's mum had no idea such a thing existed when he was born weighing less than 4 lb in York.

    Jennifer Armstrong says at the time she just wanted to be with her baby as much as possible and was amazed by what she called "a great act of love".

    Humberside Police say he may have family in York and anyone who has any information is asked to come forward.

    A cafe that gives opportunities to people wanting to learn vocational skills has reopened in Doncaster.

    Newly-named Cafe Flourish has been closed throughout much of March as part of refurbishment work, but has now reopened with the hope more people can benefit.

    The cafe helps people in Doncaster gain experience and confidence through training.

    It gives people the chance to learn skills such as how to be a barista, customer care skills, using tills, food preparation, baking and cooking.

    Police patrols have been increased after shots were fired through the window of a property in Bradford yesterday.

    The incident occurred on Agar Street, Girlington at about 22:30.

    No-one was injured.

    Det Insp Anthony Scopelitti said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have information about this incident to come forward and are keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the time leading up to, or immediately after it."

    Two men threatened staff and a customer at a supermarket in Sheffield armed with a pickaxe and a hammer, police say.

    It happened at a Co-Op store on Greengate Lane, High Green, at about 20:25 on Sunday 24 March.

    Cash from the till was stolen.

    Nobody was injured in the incident.

    CCTV images have been released by police as they appeal for help in tracking the two men down.
