    I am on the Côte de Silpho as the clean up operation is taking place.

    Earlier the women's race had to be diverted around the climb as there was oil on the road.

    I am only walking up the hill and it is still pretty slippy though.

    Organisers assure us it will be ready in time for the men's race this afternoon.

    As we mentioned the women's race had to be diverted around the Silpho climb this morning - the cause was oil on the road.

    My BBC colleague Alasdair Gill says it is being cleared up to ensure the road is ready for the men's race this afternoon.
