A 32m-high observation wheel is to be put up for one month in the town’s South Bay
It'll be on the site of the former Futurist theatre, which was demolished last year.
Scarborough Borough Council say the wheel, planned to be up and spinning by the end of the month, will give 360-degree views over the bay and will be able to carry up to 144 passengers at a time.
Councillor Steve Siddons, said: “I'm really pleased we've been able to secure such a high quality attraction for Scarborough and I am looking forward to seeing it in operation.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man on Beverley Road carrying 20 wraps of what's thought to be heroin.
Humberside Police say "further intelligence" led to a property on Ryde Street where around 100 wraps of the drug and more than £7,600 in cash was found.

Five suspected county lines drug dealers have been arrested in Scarborough, police say.
County lines is the term given to drug dealers who travel from urban areas to sell drugs in smaller county towns, using mobile phones to advertise their drugs.
Police arrested three men and two women after officers saw what they believed was a drug deal in the Queen Street area of the town and followed the suspects to a nearby flat where they seized a large amount of cash, mobile phones and wraps of suspected class A drugs.
A 19-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and money laundering.
A 17-year-old boy from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and obstructing the police.
An 18-year-old woman from London and a man, 33, and a woman, 42, both from Scarborough, were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
The North Yorkshire force says the 18-year-old and 17-year-old remain in police custody, the rest have been released while under investigation.

Doncaster Council is being accused of "letting children down" for announcing the end of a reading project started by the singer Dolly Parton.
The scheme gives children under the age of five a free book to read each month.
An email seen by the Local Democracy Reporting Service shows the Dolly Parton Imagination Library will come to an end on 1 September, following a review of library services.
Bosses said it was a "difficult decision" after trying to find alternative funding arrangements.
The external funding, provided by the Schools Forum, ended after three years and was worth about £678,000.
The scheme will hit 12,000 families with young children, with some on the waiting list to receive books.
The US country star set up the scheme in the UK in 2007.
The decision has been heavily criticised by parents who said the council should look to fund the service after the grant ended.
Scientists from the University of Hull are among those calling for urgent action to tackle sand shortages across the world.
The academics from Hull, along with those from three universities in the US, have released a report which shows sand and gravel are being extracted faster than they can be replaced.
Chris Hackney, from the University of Hull’s Energy and Environment Institute, said: “It’s time that sand was given the same focus on the world stage as other global commodities such as oil, gas and precious metals.”
A student police officer is following in the footsteps of her dad by starting work in Sheffield wearing the same collar number as him.
Lois Hunt-Brown said she was "incredibly proud" to take her dad's collar number of 2675 as she starts her training this week.
Her father, James, who left the force as an inspector at Snig Hill, said unusually his collar number wasn't assigned to anyone after he retired in 2015 so "maybe it's been waiting for Lois".

A 14-year-old boy has gone missing in West Yorkshire, police say.
Bradley Clift is described as 5ft,7ins tall, slim, with short blonde hair.
He was last seen on Tuesday in Dewsbury, wearing a black hoodie, black trousers and nike trainers.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.

Beverley's Kyle Edmund says he must improve his fitness after squandering a two-set lead to lose to Fernando Verdasco in the Wimbledon second round.
The British number one was three games from victory before a slip and fatigue derailed him in a 4-6 4-6 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 6-4 loss.
"It was a long match, quite a physical match," Edmund, 24, said. "The sort of physical intensity that I showed in the first part of the match gradually just declined. I was not able to keep that level up.
"I should have probably finished the match in the first place in the first part of the match, having obviously a two-sets-to-love lead and a break."
A man who was found dead in a street in Bradford has been named by police.
Mohammed Feazan Ayaz, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene at Saffron Drive in Allerton on Monday morning.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion or murder and remains in custody, West Yorkshire Police said.
Mr Ayaz's family described him as a "a father figure, a lovely son and brother" and urged anyone with information to contact police.
