Police officers posed for a series of Star Wars snaps in York city centre this weekend.
Officers were 'captured' by Darth Vader before a pair of Wookiees 'saved the day'.
The costumed characters were from Sentinel Squad UK and were in the city to raise money for charity.
Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself near the University of York.
Officers are investigating the sexual offence that happened on the pedestrian and cycle path leading from Heslington Road via The Retreat (pictured), towards the university, at about 15:25 on Friday.
North Yorkshire Police are requesting the public’s assistance to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers are appealing for information about a man seen in the area at the time who's been described as white, slim and with a tan. He had short dark hair and wore a blue T-shirt and dark coloured jeans.
A 24-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries after being hit with a piece of wood during a "disturbance" involving a group of 12 men in Knaresborough.
The man is being treated in hospital after the incident which happened near to the Market Tavern pub, in Castlegate.
The victim is not believed to have been a part of the group and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The man who reportedly carried out the attack is described as white in his 20s, 5ft 9ins tall, with close-cropped dark hair, a dark blue Puffa-style jacket and jeans.
A man is charged with murder and two are in custody on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead.

There's a meeting tonight for people worried about plans to build a large solar farm in North Yorkshire.

The UK premiere of an exhibition where the work of Vincent Van Gogh is brought to life by projectors and digital images has opened in York.
The exhibition, at St Mary's Church on Castlegate, was due to start on Friday but was delayed due to "a few technical glitches".
Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience features the artist's work projected on walls, screens and the roof of the building, with wheat swaying in the breeze and water pouring from the painting's frames.
CCTV images of two men police want to speak to have been released after two cars were stolen in a Doncaster burglary last month.
A BMW and a Nissan Juke were both stolen from the house on Church Rein Close, Warmsworth on 24 June at about 00:30.
It's reported that two people entered the property and took car keys and a handbag. The BMW was recovered but the Nissan is still missing.
If anybody recognises the men, they're asked to get in touch with police as they could help South Yorkshire Police with their investigation.
