As part of the West Yorkshire airport's plans to start moving people again, a Ryanair flight took off yesterday.
More airlines are to join Ryanair in restarting flights from Leeds Bradford Airport, with Eastern Airways resuming next Monday, KLM on 4 July, Jet2 on 15 July and Aer Lingus in August.
Passengers will have to wear face coverings in the terminal at Yeadon, with social distancing guidelines being enforced, the airport said.
People are still flouting coronavirus restrictions and camping out overnight in North Yorkshire, police say.
Camping or sleeping overnight in motorhomes is still not allowed under government rules put in place earlier this year to contain the Covid-19 pandemic:

Two Yorkshire MPs have written to the Rail Minister calling for urgent help for Hull Trains.
Unlike other train operators, Hull Trains - an open access operator rather than a franchise - didn't receive government funding earlier in the coronavirus pandemic and had to stop services and furlough staff as a result.
First Group, which owns Hull Trains, says it will resume services when it's commercially viable.
In their letter to the rail minister, Diana Johnson, Labour MP for Hull North, and David Davis, Conservative MP for Howden and Haltemprice, say the company faces an uncertain future.
They say they fear without government support, the firm's services could be permanently lost.
Diana Johnson says: "They cannot restart their services and meet the social distancing requirements without the government providing some assistance - which they have already done for franchised rail operators."
The Department for Transport says it's working closely with Hull Trains to discuss the level of support available.
It adds it's keen to see Hull Trains return to the network as soon as conditions permit.

No one in East Yorkshire has been fined for failing to wear a face mask on public transport following the recent introduction of stricter rules, it's been confirmed.
Police forces across England were given the power to issue £100 on the spot fines after the coronavirus lockdown was eased at the start of this month.
Humberside Police says its officers haven't handed out any fines since they were given powers to do so from Monday 15 June.
The “overwhelming majority” of people in Hull and East Yorkshire are following government guidance, according to a force spokesperson.
"Our policing approach at Humberside Police continues to use common sense and discretion," the spokesperson added.
"As before, we only use enforcement where we feel we have no other option.”
More than 3,000 extra staff, including police officers, were deployed to stations across England to help enforce new rules on face coverings in public.
The changes also applied to visitors to NHS hospitals. Public transport passengers will be prevented from boarding buses and trains if they refuse to cover their face.
Children aged under 11, the disabled and people with certain health conditions are exempt.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward as inquiries continue, the force said.
