The offences are alleged to have taken place about 20 years ago, when the girls were aged between 11 and 16.
National Crime Agency (NCA) officers working as part of Operation Stovewood made the arrests in various locations across South and West Yorkshire this week.
The men, aged between 35 and 53, were questioned by police then released while investigations continue.
Philip Marshall, Operation Stovewood senior investigating officer, said: “We continue to focus on supporting victims and bringing offenders to justice as part of Operation Stovewood.
“We’re interested in speaking to anyone who might have information to help investigations into child sexual abuse in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013."
South Yorkshire Police asked the NCA to lead an independent investigation in 2015, following a report by Professor Alexis Jay in 2014 which found the abuse had been ignored by agencies.
Stovewood is the largest law enforcement investigation into non-familial child sexual abuse in the UK.
The latest arrests mean that about 150 people have now been arrested as part of the operation.

Police investigating an attack in which a man was stabbed to death and three others were injured at a house party in Sheffield are asking anyone with video footage of the evening to come forward.

He was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards.
Three other injured men, all aged 24, were treated at hospital and were later discharged.
Temporary Det Ch Insp Mark Oughton has asked anyone who was present at a street party in Horninglow Road, or at an unlicensed music event in Concord Park earlier the same evening, to come forward.
He said: “We know some of those who were close by at the time of Mr Ramsay’s death had attended a rave in Concord Park earlier on Friday evening."Mobile phone footage of crowds at either location will greatly assist our efforts as we work to build up a picture of people’s movements from Friday into Saturday.
"I need to understand how the evening unfolded in order to ascertain who was present and what exactly led to Mr Ramsay’s death."There were "potentially dozens" of witnesses who could help provide police and Mr Ramsay's family with answers about what happened, he added.
Five West Yorkshire MPs are calling for a more localised approach to regional lockdowns during spikes in the coronavirus pandemic.
The MPs have written to the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, asking for local restrictions, implemented in parts of West Yorkshire at the end of July, to be based on postcode areas.
In the letter the MPs say the restrictions should be "targeted to prevent unnecessary disruption," an approach they say would be "a relief to many constituents living outside urban areas."
The letter is signed by Dewsbury MP Mark Eastwood, Colne Valley MP Jason McCartney, Shipley MP Phillip Davies, Keighley MP Robbie Moore and Calder Valley MP Craig Whittaker.
Writing on social media Mr Whittaker says: "I am pleased to co-sign this letter with neighbouring West Yorkshire Conservative MPs, where local restrictions have also been imposed on a local authority basis.
"Calder Valley and other West Yorkshire constituencies continue to have negligible or no new cases of Covid-19.
"We are, therefore, requesting an even more localised approach by targeting restrictions on postcodes where infection rates are high, as opposed to blanket restrictions across the whole borough," he added.
