Council buildings will be lit up in red, white and blue tonight as a mark of respect, the authority says.
An online book of condolence has also been opened on the council's website, external so people can record their own tributes.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Doreen Lee, has written to Capt Sir Tom's family offering condolences on behalf of the people of the district, the council adds.
Chief executive of Bradford Council, Kersten England, said: “We are immensely proud of Captain Sir Tom Moore, who is a son of our district, born and bred in Keighley, and of his determination and optimism to get the job done showing true Yorkshire grit."
CCTV images have been released following the seizure of about 1,500 cannabis plants worth an estimated £1.5m, police say.
The plants were found during a raid on an industrial premises in the Tinsley area of Sheffield on 23 December 2020, according to South Yorkshire Police.
PC Laura Thompson said: “We know in cases of significant cannabis grows like this, there are often connections to organised crime, which is something we're determined to disrupt and dismantle.
"Officers believe the men pictured could hold information which could prove vital to the ongoing investigation. Do you recognise them?" she asked.
Two men, aged 23 and 24-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of producing controlled drugs, police said.
The 24-year-old was released under investigation while inquiries continue. The 23-year-old was bailed pending further inquiries.
Anyone who recognises any of the men pictured is being asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has encouraged members of the public to clap for Captain Sir Tom Moore at 18:00 tonight.

The Army veteran won the nation's hearts by walking 100 laps of his garden last spring during the first coronavirus lockdown, raising money for NHS Charities Together.
He had initially set out to raise £1,000, but he eventually raised £32,794,701 from more than 1.5 million supporters and was knighted by the Queen in July.
The charity said the total would rise to £39m when Gift Aid was taken into account.
Before Prime Minister's Questions earlier, the House of Commons held a one-minute silence in memory of Capt Sir Tom and those who have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic.
Afterwards, Mr Johnson said: "We all now have the opportunity to show our appreciation for [Capt Sir Tom] and all that he stood for and believed in.
"That is why I encourage everyone to join in a national clap for Captain Tom and all those health workers for whom he raised money at 18:00 this evening."
Yorkshire cricketer and England cricket captain Joe Root has paid tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a sheep had to be put down following an attack by a dog in a North Yorkshire field.
It happened at about 15:30 on Monday 25 January when the dog was let off its lead in a field full of sheep at Suggetts Field, Great Ayton, police say.
Officers believe three men were in the field with a lurcher-type dog.
As a result of the attack, a sheep was left with severe injuries and the farmer "was left with not alternative but to end its suffering", according to North Yorkshire Police.
Anyone who saw what happened, or who has information about the incident, is being asked to get in touch with police.

A man and a woman have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a series of shootings in South Yorkshire.
Three men were injured in the shootings in Park Road, Daylands Avenue and March Vale Rise in Conisbrough in November, South Yorkshire Police said.
Joe Edward Roberts, 20, and Nicola Butler, 44, both of Windmill Avenue, Doncaster, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.
Both were remanded in custody and are due in court again on 13 September.
Mr Roberts is charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, arson with intent to endanger life, and violent disorder.
Ms Butler is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council, said: “Not only did this remarkable man raise a staggering amount of money to support the fight against Covid-19, he also brought us a reason to smile amid all the worry and uncertainty of the past year.
“Sir Tom will be mourned and remembered across the nation as a man who above all gave us hope that, in his own words, 'tomorrow will be a good day.'”
Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Eileen Taylor, added: “Capt Sir Tom Moore will be remembered as someone who against all odds, was able to lift the spirits of a nation through his indomitable spirit, determination, and compassion for others.”
Two more people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting.
Lewis Williams, 20, died on 11 January from a shotgun wound suffered in Wath Road, Mexborough.
South Yorkshire Police said two teenagers aged 15 and 17 were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder.
Four people, two men, aged 21 and 20, and two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, have been charged with murdering Mr Williams and are due to stand trial on 6 September.
A number of other people have also been arrested in connection with the incident.
A "sophisticated" cannabis factory found in Hull has been shut down, say police.
Cannabis plants worth an estimated £14,000 were found throughout the first floor bedrooms during a search on Monday of a property on Belmont Street, according to Humberside Police.
The drugs have now been seized, police said.
A man arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis has been released under investigation, the force added.

On his 100th birthday last year Capt Sir Tom was promoted to honorary colonel of The Yorkshire Regiment's 1st Battalion in Harrogate.
Lt Col Simon Farebrother (pictured above), who met Capt Sir Tom during his visit to Harrogate's Army Foundation College, said: "He talked to people about the experiences he'd had in his preparation for war and his career and then contrast that with what the junior soldiers do here.
"And he stayed connected to what became The Yorkshire Regiment and help run some its associations throughout his entire life."
Lt Col Simon Farebrother added: "He gave junior soldiers here a really good feel for how the connections and confidence you get through an army career can last a lifetime.
"He was a true legend from an exceptional generation and we will remember him with great pride and affection," he said.

A rainbow flag has been raised above Barnsley Town Hall for the first time to mark LGBT+ History Month.

Two cases of the South Africa coronavirus variant have been found in Scarborough, according to the director of Public Health for North Yorkshire.
Louise Wallace confirmed the cases at a weekly briefing, adding that they were linked to international travel and not community transmission.
She said the two patients had self-isolated and there was no risk to the community.
North Yorkshire County Council says it has been advised by Public Health England that no extra testing needs to be carried out as a result of the development.
Since 22 December more than 100 cases of the South Africa variant have been spotted in England.

Officers attended reports of gunshots in the Park Road, Daylands Avenue and March Vale Rise areas between 7 and 9 November, according to South Yorkshire Police.
Three men suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incidents.
A 20-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman from from Doncaster, are due to appear before Sheffield Crown Court later.
The man is charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, arson with intent to endanger life, and violent disorder.
The woman is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Three further arrests have been made in connection with the death of a boy in York after he took the drug ecstasy.
Josh Reeson, 15, was found on Fulford Road in York, on 27 September 2020 and died later in hospital.
An inquest held in Northallerton on Monday heard he died of multiple organ failure after taking a "significant quantity" of the drug.
An 18-year-old man and two boys aged 16 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of drugs supply offences, police said.
All three have been released on conditional police bail.
A 15-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, a 33-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man remain on conditional bail, according to North Yorkshire Police.
Two further teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, remain under investigation, the force added.
