The opening date for a new swimming pool in Ripon has still not been set, as the project - hit by construction problems - runs £4m over budget.
The new pool was expected to open in January, but Harrogate Borough Council has said a revised opening date is not known.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS), councillor Stanley Lumley, cabinet member for culture, tourism and sport, had said he anticipated the pool would open in January.
Problems encountered by the project include a fault found in the lining of the pool, and a sinkhole beneath the adjoining leisure centre, which prompted an £110,000 investigation.
The new pool is being built as a replacement for Ripon Spa Baths which closed in November, leaving the city without a pool for the past three months.

The firm behind the Humber ports is calling for a new road bridge between Immingham and Hull.
Associated British Ports (ABP), which oversees 17% of the nation's trade at the four Humber ports, says the construction of a second Humber Bridge could tie into an existing Environment Agency flood barrier project.
It argues a new road bridge would reduce the reliance on the A63 in East Yorkshire and the A180 in Northern Lincolnshire, reduce congestion and help to speed up the movement of freight across the North of England.
The bridge call is just one proposal in response to a Transport for the North consultation into freight and logistics.
In a statement, ABP also says a "substantial proportion" of the 6,700 HGVs using the Humber ports could be moved over to the rail network to reduce carbon emissions and improve reliability.

North Yorkshire MP and former minister Julian Smith is among senior Conservatives calling again for Boris Johnson to withdraw in full what he calls the "false Savile slurs" against Sir Keir Starmer.
The Labour leader was targeted by a group of protesters on Monday who shouted the late paedophile's name.
At least six Tory MPs later linked the incident to the PM's incorrect comment that former head of the CPS Sir Keir had failed to prosecute serial sex offender Savile.
Mr Smith, the Skipton and Ripon MP and former Northern Ireland Secretary, has previously called for his boss to retract the comments.
In a post on social media Mr Smith said it was important for democracy as well as Sir Keir's security that "the false Savile slurs made against him are withdrawn in full."

Boris Johnson has said the behaviour directed at Sir Keir was "absolutely disgraceful".
Downing Street has said it has no intention for apologising for the remarks Mr Johnson made, a senior source at No 10 told the BBC.
They said it was unreasonable to suggest that what happened on Monday "was Boris's fault and not the mob's fault."
