    Firefighters remain at the site of a plastic pallet manufacturing plant which caught fire near Swadlincote this morning.

    The blaze is out but the plant at Albert Village is smouldering.

    An investigation into the cause is under way, with unconfirmed reports the fire could have spread from a nearby field.

    Nottinghamshire's first sugar ambassador says she's keen to work with GP surgeries to help patients wanting to lose weight.

    Bridgette Hamilton has been appointed to her role by the charitable Public Health Collaboration, external. As a weight-loss therapist working in Nottinghamshire for more than a decade, she says that the country as a whole has a growing obesity crisis leading to a range of troubling health issues including Diabetes Type 2.

    And she's hoping family doctors will help spread the message that a diet rich in processed carbohydrates and sugars is where the risks lie.

    Two men on a moped have been reportedly riding around Leicester trying to snatch chains from around people's necks, external.

    Leicestershire Police said the pair had struck at least three times since Saturday at a number of locations around the city.

    The first two attempts - in Canon Street and Jarrom Street - saw the men successfully steal the jewellery but a third attempt - in Doncaster Road - failed.

    Det Con Steve Wallage said: "All the incidents have taken place in broad daylight in busy areas of the city and East Leicester.

    "If you have seen two people riding around on a moped in these areas then we need to speak to you. If you have any suspicions or information about those responsible please get in touch.”

    Still no news on Martyn Waghorn's move from Ipswich Town to the Rams. It was thought the deal would be announced today but it's all gone quiet on that front.

    Now, we're hearing of another potential transfer - this one involving Matej Vydra and Burnley - with forward Nakhi Wells going the other way and joining Derby County on loan.

    No deal has been agreed as yet though.

    Police have named a 52-year-old woman, external who was found dead at a flat in Measham.

    The body of Tracey Evans was discovered in High Street at about 01:50 yesterday.

    A 54-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder is still in police custody and the flat remains cordoned off.

    This astonishing footage shows a 'fire tornado' crews encountered while tackling the blaze at Occupation Lane near Swadlincote this morning.

    Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said the unusual sight was created by cool air entering the top of the hot air causing a swirl similar to how a tornado is formed.
