Network Rail has criticised young people who "choose to ignore" warning signs at a level crossing in Rutland.
The crossing is close to the Wing Hall estate, popular for camping, and residents in nearby Uppingham say it's shocking to see the children so relaxed on the crossing.
Vicky Beadle, community safety manager at Network Rail, said: "Crossings are safe if they're used correctly but the problem we do have is people disregarding the safety of the railways.
"There is a gate at this crossing and these children are choosing to ignore all the signs that are there."
She said they are continuing to spend money to improve signs at crossings and run workshops in schools.
