    Police say concerns are growing for a 48-year-old man who's been missing from the South Normanton area for two days.

    Paul Doherty, who was last seen on Storth Lane on Wednesday afternoon, was wearing blue jeans and a blue hoody when he disappeared.

    Three men have been charged with murder, external following an explosion in Leicester that killed five people.

    Police said Aram Kurd, 34, from Leicester, Hawkar Hassan, 32, from Coventry, and Arkan Ali, 37, from Oldham, had each been charged with five counts of murder.

    All three men are also charged with arson with intent to endanger life and manslaughter.

    A Polish supermarket and the flat above it were destroyed in the blast on Hinckley Road on 25 February.

    The victims were 22-year-old shop worker Viktorija Ijevleva, Mary Ragoobar, 46, and her sons Shane Ragoobeer, 18, and Sean Ragoobeer, 17 and Shane's girlfriend Leah Reek, 18.

    Police are investigating after claims a campaigner was hit by a tractor at an anti-fracking protest.

    The Local Democracy Reporter Service was told that Trevor Butt, a resident in the village of Marsh Lane, near Chesterfield, was "struck in the chest" by the wheel.

    He had been protesting at the Bramley Moor Lane site, near Marsh Lane, on Wednesday, where INEOS will be building a fracking test.

    His sister, Tracy Butt said: “He has a tyre mark right across his white T-shirt. He has grazed knees, and his back and neck hurt, he says."

    An INEOS spokesman called the protests a "targeted campaign of harassment" and said that eyewitnesses, including the farmer driving the tractor, denied the man was hit.

    Derbyshire Police confirmed that inquiries are ongoing "into a collision between a man and a tractor" and that a 50-year-old suffered minor injuries.

    The 23-year-old will move to Bloomfield Road on loan initially with the deal becoming permanent when the transfer window reopens in January.

    A Derbyshire walkway has been closed due to a drainage issue.

    The Millennium Walkway, in Goyt Valley Gorge, New Mills, was shut yesterday because of a drainage issue near the walkway's access path off Station Road.

    The entire walkway has been cordoned off until further notice while investigations into the cause are carried out.

    Councillor Simon Spencer, Derbyshire County Council cabinet member for highways, transport and infrastructure, said: “It’s unfortunate that we’ve had to take this action but the leak is getting worse and we need to close the walkway for safety reasons until the problem is resolved.“A meeting has been called with all the organisations involved so we can get this issue sorted and reopen the walkway as soon as possible.”

    Three boys have been charged with killing two hedgehogs in a park by setting them on fire.

    Two hedgehogs were set on fire and killed in the rose garden area of Manor Park, Glossop in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

    The boys, who are all aged either 14 or 15 and cannot be identified because of their age, have been charged with inflicting unnecessary suffering to a wild mammal.

    A new home is being sought for an elderly brother and sister doggy duo.

    Yorkshire terriers Poppy and Bruno, both 15, have arrived at Dogs Trust Loughborough following a change in family circumstances.

    Staff at the charity said it was the oldest pair of siblings they had ever tried to find homes for.

    Assistant manager Claire Kelman said: “It's always sad when older dogs come to us as they're so used to their home comforts.

    "We understand that Bruno and Poppy have lived together in the same home all their lives so they've had to adapt to a whole new way of life but they're coping very well.

    “They are definitely happiest when they are together so we're really hoping that anyone wanting to welcome two bundles of doggie love into their lives realise Bruno and Poppy could be the dogs for them.”
