    A man has been charged, external with carrying out a series of knifepoint robberies in Nottingham over the past few weeks.

    The 18-year-old, who's accused of four robberies in Aspley and Basford between 8 January and 10 February, is due to appear before magistrates later.

    Derby's top business leaders are to hold a meeting later to discuss what can be done to save the Bennetts department store.

    The firm, which runs shops in Iron Gate and Ashbourne, is looking for a buyer after going into administration on Friday.

    Derby City Council leader Chris Poulter said the focus of the meeting today is to see whether changes can be made in the city centre to help keep Bennetts open.

    He said: "It's survived 300 years, through two world wars and a recession. I'm sure it's a business model that's worked that hopefully someone will come along and rescue.

    "It's a lynchpin in the Cathedral Quarter in relation to business and we need to try and keep it.

    Susan Brealey was last seen at her home in Radford on Friday.

    Plans for a £20m leisure centre and commercial site in part of Nottinghamshire will be discussed by councillors today.

    The proposed development in Chapel Lane in Bingham includes a swimming pool, gym, community hall and offices - and could create around 90 jobs if approved.

    It's hoped the development, due to be considered by Rushcliffe Borough Council's cabinet, would help link the town centre with new housing developments to the north.

    A Leicestershire woman who suffered a terrible injury after a lip filler was administered incorrectly has inspired a Parliamentary debate taking place today.

    South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa will call for the regulation of non-surgical cosmetic procedures in Westminster Hall later following his constituent Rachael Knappier's experience last year.

    Botox has to be prescribed but fillers are currently unregulated.

    Miss Knappier, from Broughton Astley, has set up an online petition for only medical professionals to be able to give the injections.
