A badger has had to be rescued after getting entangled in rope in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire.
The RSPCA said the "very feisty" animal was lucky to not have serious injuries as it only went around her waist.
She was helped by a local inspector who was called out by Network Rail yesterday morning and was cut loose and checked by a vet before being released back to her sett.
The inspector said: "Badgers, like a lot of wildlife, can come a cropper through litter and debris that has been left behind by us."

A father and daughter are planning to take on what is claimed to be "the world's toughest row" together.
The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is a 3,000-mile (4,800km) row from La Gomera to Antigua.
Roger and Brittany Staniforth, from Wymeswold, Leicestershire, will take on the challenge in December with their two friends Victoria Mico and Edward Raymont.
The team is called Generation Gap - to highlight the 31-year age gap between members.
Mr Staniforth said the challenge was his daughter's idea.
"The truth is I had no desire to do it," he said. "Britt came home in February and said, 'Dad I'm going to row the Atlantic'.
"It just seemed like too good of an opportunity to turn down."
He said he had never rowed before when he agreed to take up his daughter's challenge.
Brittany is hoping they can complete the crossing in 40 to 50 days.
"The record is 29 days for four, but we're not really going out to set world records - we just want to get across safely.
"If we do it in less than 42 days, then we'll set a world record for the quickest mixed crew," she said.
While out on the ocean, each pair is expected to spend two hours rowing followed by two hours of sleeping, eating or stretching.
The team is raising money for four different charities: Mind, Women's Aid Federation England, The Royal Marines Charity and Rural Assistance Nepal.

Speed van locations in Derbyshire will not be published for the next month as part of a trial.
Over the past few years, the Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) has been publishing where its vans, which catch speeding drivers, will be each fortnight on its website., external
A spokeswoman for CREST said the team is unusual in publishing the locations - although other forces do, including Nottinghamshire., external
She said it wants to see if not doing so for the next month will reduce drivers' speeds.
"Even when we have publicised the locations drivers are still caught speeding in those areas – for instance 160 drivers were caught speeding in London Road over a three-hour period on Sunday," she added.
"There is no legal responsibility to publish the locations of the speed camera vans and the decision to do so was taken many years ago and has not been reviewed for some time."
