Officers investigating the theft of three dogs from a kennels in Spondon, Derby, have appealed for help tracing a car seen in the area at the time.
Derbyshire Police said the dark-coloured car with foreign number plates - possibly a Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe or Honda CRV - was caught on CCTV at Asda in Spondon at about 18:00 on Tuesday 3 August.
It has appealed for anyone who saw this car in the area to get in touch.

The dogs - two cockapoos named Elvis and Tony, and a cocker spaniel called Remi - were taken from Brookfield Farm, in West Road at some time between 19:00 that day and 07:00 the following day.
Det Sgt Scott McDermott said: “Thank you to all those people who have so far come forward. We are now particularly keen to trace the driver of this car, and anyone else in the area as they may have further information which could help with our inquiries.
“This is understandably a very distressing time for the dog’s owners and those who cared for them, who are anxious to get them back to their loving homes.”
