    A woman in her 70s has died in a collision , externalbetween two cars near Market Rasen.

    The crash was at 16.40 GMT last night on A631 at Bishopbridge.

    The collision involved a blue Volkswagen Polo and a white Citroen C3.

    The woman was driving the Polo and died at the scene.

    EMAS has seen a 20% rise in the number of life-threatening calls over the past two years, according to the figures obtained by BBC.

    Despite some improvements in the region, handover delays - that's hospitals keeping ambulance patients waiting to be accepted at A&E - are generally a worsening problem.

    Lincoln City are top of the National League following a 1-0 win at home to Wrexham despite playing for more than an hour with 10 men. 

    After Matt Rhead had an early penalty saved, Elliot Whitehouse put the Imps ahead before Sean Raggett was sent off for a dangerous challenge. 

    But City held out to go two points clear at the top at the halfway stage of the season.

    A man who had withdrawn £100 from a cash machine was threatened with a knife and robbed in Scunthorpe.

    The 25-year-old was walking down an alleyway when he was attacked by two men.

    One of the men grabbed him and threatening him with a penknife and demanding he hand over his wallet. 

    The attack was at 19.00 on Sunday, 27 November off Frodingham Road.

    Ambulance services across Lincolnshire are struggling to hit government targets, according to a BBC investigation.

    At Lincoln County Hospital nearly 75% of handovers take longer than the 15 minute target. 

    In the first half of this year the time lost for Lincolnshire's ambulances is equal to taking eight crews off the road each day.

    The College of Paramedics says it means crews aren't getting to emergency calls fast enough.

    The trust that runs the hospital says it's working with EMAS to reduce handover times from ambulance to the A&E department.
