    Hundreds of members of North East Lincolnshire's Credit Union have been told they won't lose money after it went into administration. 

    Around 640 members are affected and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme has stepped in to protect them. 

    The vast majority of members will be compensated within seven days.

    A care home manager in Lincolnshire who stole more than £20,000 from a resident has been jailed for 12 months. 

    Susan West - who ran Byron House in Skegness - used a severely disabled man's bank card to withdraw the money from cash machines over three years. 

    The 54-year-old, from Firbeck Avenue, Skegness, admitted the charges at Lincoln Crown Court .

    Here's the moment Margaret Adams met NHS manager Sarah-Jane Mills, who's behind the decision to close her GP surgery in Lincoln.

    Patients at two surgeries in Lincoln, one surgery in Metheringham, near Lincoln and another in Gainsborough have all been told their local surgery will close within weeks.

    It will leave around 11,000 people without their regular doctor.

    People who oppose a waste recycling plant in Lincoln say it will be unsafe, is in the wrong location and will increase traffic.

    More than 200 campaigners opposed to the site on Long Leys Road packed into a public meeting last night.

    Veolia's the company behind the idea did not attend last night but said it was a good alternative to sending waste to landfill. 

    Lincolnshire County Council's expected to make a decision on the company's planning application in January.

    A new £6m flood defence scheme is now working in Louth. 

    The Environment Agency says it'll help protect 185 homes and businesses. 

    The town was badly flooded in 2007, as the picture below shows.

    Lincolnshire's had one of the largest falls in the number of people swimming once a week in the country.

    Figures obtained by the BBC show it's dropped by a quarter across the country.

    But in Lincolnshire it's down by 40%.

    There are concerns in our area about the regulation of shops that offer 'rent-to-own' goods. 

    These shops allow customers to buy an item like a fridge or TV with weekly installments, but it often means people end up paying a lot more than those using cash or credit cards. 

    David Martin, from Scunthorpe's Credit Union, said people need to be careful with the deals.

    Campaigners who fought to save their GP surgery have told BBC Radio Lincolnshire of their anger over a decision to close the practice.

    Around 11,000 patients who are on the books of four surgeries have been told by health officials the practices will close in January. 

    The Burton Road and the Arboretum surgeries in Lincoln, Metheringham Surgery and Pottergate surgery in Gainsborough will all shut. 

    It's after the firm that ran them got into financial problems.

    The Lincolnshire West Clinical Commissioning Group - which is responsible for providing GP services in the area, says no other firm's come forward to run them.
